Just In Time Publishing
WordPress can sometimes miss publishing scheduled posts. This can be very frustrating especially if you are expecting visitors based on for example a marketing campaign or press releases. It’s easy to say well you should be checking that the post is scheduled and release it manually if for some reason it missed, but sometimes that just isn’t possible.
To help solve the problem, we created this plugin that will very quickly check for overdue posts whenever someone visits enabled post types or archive pages. It will also check on a 404 which can be generated if someone visited a scheduled post page directly that isn’t yet published.
It’s just in time, because the post will be published as soon as it is needed and will redirect the visitors afterwards to ensure that the post loads on first visit! Very handy!

How does this work?
It will check every time an active post type is visited and if there are any overdue posts, they will be published just in time for the visitor to see them. If neccesary, the visitor will be seamlessly redirected from any 404 pages to the newly published post.
I'm gettng out of memory errors
If you have a large number of overdue posts then this can use a lot of resource to publish them all at once.
The plugin includes an option under Limits in Settings > Just In Time Publishing to limit the number of posts that will be processed on a single visit. You can set this to something other than “unlimited”.
